Another promotional poster from the North American Cryptid Tourism Board. A dramatic depiction of the Cryptid that could only come from the Garden State. It features the following copy:
"Although it is thought to come from the heavily forested Pine Barrens of South New Jersey, the full range of this mysterious cryptid remains unknown. In January of 1909 there were numerous sightings of the Jersey Devil along the Delaware river, from Philadelphia to as far north as Trenton. Seen here flanked by a swarm of large bats that eyewitnesses often described in their accounts. It sits perched atop the original Lower Trenton Bridge looking out onto the river. It is believed the river has long served as an abundant hunting ground for the creature."
11” X 17” Two color silkscreened print on off white high quality 100 lb archival paper.
